Royal Caribbean International has launched a new portal for corporate meetings, incentives and charters at sea at RoyalCaribbeanIncentives.com. Through the site, planners now can create their own accounts, save searches and profiles, search for availability on RCL's fleet of 22 vessels, request a proposal, and access a library of information and resources.

Conyers Cherry Blossom Festival helps mark 100th Anniversary of the Gift of Cherry Trees from Japan

(Conyers, GA—February 3, 2012) The 2012 Conyers Cherry Blossom Festival was recently selected by the Embassy of Japan and the Consulate General of Japan as an event marking the Centennial Celebration of the Gift of Cherry Trees. The year 2012 marks the 100th anniversary of the gift of cherry blossom trees from the people of Japan to the people of the United States. Tokyo, Japan gave Washington D.C. 3,000 cherry trees in 1912 as a symbol of friendship. The cherry blossom trees are the only major gift from foreign countries to the United States besides the Statue of Liberty.

Plans for a new residence to be built for Fall of 2013 at The University of Western Ontario.

London, Ontario, Canada - Construction of a new 1,000-bed student residence at The University of Western Ontario was given the green light by the Board of Governors Thursday, June 23.

Following reports of a surging first-year class size - more than 5,100 new students are expected in September – building approval for a new residence couldn’t come soon enough. The growing incoming class is putting pressure on the current residence system to accommodate students taking advantage of the first-year residence guarantee.

Lutheridge Dining Room Renovations Completed

Lutheridge, located in Asheville North Carolina, just completed a $250,000 improvement to the dining room. With a new mountain lodge feel, the dining room has new windows and walls, new floor, and a new heating and air conditioning system. Additionally, furnishings in the lounge have all been replaced as well. You likely won't notice the new storage room, but the staff are delighted to have a place for everything now.
